Memory Lane

Here are the directions:
1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you.
It's actually pretty cool (and funny) to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.

I remember meeting Aspen for the very first time. Jeremy Jensen had moved out to Vernal. The group of friends that I hung out with would go and visit Jeremy in Vernal, meeting all of Jeremy's new friends. The group of friends got together in Salt Lake with the addition of these "Vernal Kids," So when I met Aspen I thought to myself who is this girl.

To this day I would never have thought that I would end up being related to that small town girl. However I have enjoyed every minute of it, especially her crazy little girls. I guess we can all thank Jeremy Jensen for moving to Vernal, so we could have Aspen in our lives.

I remember standing in the kitchen when we were younger. Aspen would punch her fists at me and I would practice blocking them. I missed just once, and she got me right in the eye, which later turned black and blue.

I appreciate the great friend you have been and love working with you. In some ways we share a lot in common and appreciate you always willing to help. I love that we always try to come in for meetings at the same time. I like that we've come to each others houses and the kids like playing together. I admire you

One memory I have is driving home from EFY together (or was it driving out?) It was probably the first out of town trip with just a friend that I had taken. I just remember never having a bad time when I was with you. Crazy its been probably like 9 years since I've seen you. Come visit!!

I remember once, You, Kristalyn, and I all drove to the family reunion in Grandma and Grandpa Park's car. They had tons and tons of cookies, candy, chips, etc. We ate and ate the whole trip. That night we weren't hungry for dinner due to all the sweets so we didn't eat. That night we all threw up, and were so sick. For some reason I have never forgotten that!

I remember leaving you kids alone when Dad and I went on on trip. When we returned, Vince had a black eye. When questioned about it, you just looked at your knuckles and grinned!

Oh the jr. high days! It was the last day of school our freshman year and we partied at your house! We took the boat out on the pond behind your house and stayed out there till we were fried crispy!
We kind of stopped hanging out after that. What the heck happened?
Aspen you are awesome! I like this blog. It has brought back a lot of good memories that would otherwise be forgotten!

So I am pretty sure it was Mike Glines that we convinced your name was Aspelanonaeita!

I have so many FUN memories of you! Mr. Snodgrass.. remember him? And remember all of the crazy times we drove in my little white car and I was a total maniac driver? We totally should have rolled that thing. We went to all of the stake dances in it. OH, and your poor parents were so hesitant for you to hang out with me because they thought I was a bad influence or something. Karstan's parents thought the same thing. What the crap was that all about? ;) But I have to say... one of the funniest things ever (and I still have this today, and think of you everytime I see it, which is quite often) was when we were in your dad's big storage thing out behind your house and we found that badge thing that says, "Dip me in honey and throw me to the Lesbians." Brett loves that thing and wears it often. FUNNY!

Ahhhhhhhh..... good times..... good times.

I enjoy all the times that you let me just hang out at your house and chat! It is so nice to have a great friend next door. I am trying to think of a funny memory with you...If I think of one, I will be back!

I'm going to go with one that happened just a few days ago. Talking with you about hair removal! I asked you to show me your silky smooth arm pits, and you did! You were very proud, and I was very jealous. You can delete this if it is too much info.

I was always so excited when we got to see you guys. I remember at a family reunion, I think it was me that lost a sandal in the creek or something and we spent hours looking for it and we never found it! I also remember going down the zip line into your pond.
