Tawnie and I took the kids to McDonalds Friday night. This will work much better once Brynlie and Tyler are old enough to go play with the big kids. Brynlie enjoyed her first Milkshake and made herself quite sick.
"Baby Tyler" as Sadie calls him. I think she is so happy to pass on that "baby" name to someone else.
Tyler had enough excitement for one night.
Kylie and Maddie...can you tell that they are posing?
Jason and Sadie enjoying their ice cream cones. Don't let Sadie's angelic little face fool you. She had to be taken out kicking and screaming TWICE that night. She is so stubborn. The first time I took her out was after she climbed in the slides instead of eating her food. I told her I'd count to five and come after her and she slipped up the tube so quick. I tried to grab her but missed and had to catch her on the way down the slide.
Brynlie is such a happy little girl...and getting so big! I have more pictures to post of her showing all of her latest accomplishments, but that will have to wait until tomorrow.
We seem to go weeks at a time where the cousins only see each other on Sunday at church even though they live just 9 houses down. Then there are weeks like this past week, where they have been together almost every single night. We were at Jeremy and Larkyn's house earlier this evening with all of the South's to watch Jacob's fights on TV and yesterday we went to Ogden for Kayla's blessing. Jacob did a great job and it was a beautiful blessing. The highlight of the day for me was when Jared got up and bore his testimony, for the first time ever (or at least since he was a kid). Kylie sat there with a big grin on her face making faces at her daddy the whole time.
This is why the girls take the pictures in the family instead of the guys. Before the blessing I took a couple of pictures of the brothers together with Kayla.
And here is Jeremy taking a picture of the four wives. He said we should have been paying attention.
A good one of us. Jennifer was there, but she was outside with two of her mission companions trying to help them remember who was who. Good luck with that.
Jared and I took the weekend off from working on the basement. The past two Saturdays have been spent framing the basement, and it is almost all framed (pictures to come later). Jennifer came and helped out last Saturday and we are so grateful for her help! If the weather cooperates we are hoping to get some work done in the backyard next Saturday, before the days get too hot.
